Casting call for short film to be shot in Co. Down village and also in the Mourne Mountains. Provisional shooting dates are 11th – 17th May 2015. Audition taking place in Newry & Belfast between 1st – 7th April 2015.
Synopsis of The Pigman short film
A strange half man half pig creature is outcast by the local villagers. Every week he walks past the village pub and pines to be accepted. One night alone in his mountainous home he witnesses an incident where an opportunity to change his position in society arises.

1. Pigman
The lead role in the short film. The central character is a fantasy figure called Pigman who is half man half pig. You will need to to wear heavy prosthetics. It will be a demanding role and will require very strong facial expressions (in particular the eyes) and a specific way of walking that requires good body control. Some of the shooting will carry late into the night and accommodation can be provided. Travelling and catering is also covered.
